Logic - A sequential ring is used to have multiple numbers ring in a particular order when a call comes through.
NOTE: This only applies to calls coming in directly to your line and not calls coming from a Hunt Group/Call Center.
Step 1. Locate the appropriate user that we are setting up Sequential Ring for.
Step 2. On the left-hand side, under the Options men, we will select Incoming Calls.
Step 4. On the right-hand side under the Advanced section we will select Sequential Ring
Step 5. Within the Sequential Ring Menu, we have the option to add 5 telephone numbers to ring sequentially. You have the option to require answer confirmation on the sequential ring locations and to set the number of rings at each location. Answer confirmation requires that the user press a button after picking up the call to confirm that it is not an automated system answering (voicemail). Once you have added the sequential ring locations and chosen if you want answer confirmation, we need to activate the sequential ring. To do this, click the Add button at the bottom.
Step 6. Within the Sequential Ring Add Menu, we will finalize the sequential ring. If you’re turning on the ring enter a Description and check Use sequential ring. If you’re turning it off, check Do not use sequential Ring. Once it is set properly as requested, click the OK button.
Step 7. It will bring us back to the Sequential Ring menu. To confirm the simultaneous ring is active, on the bottom you should see the sequential ring description you added, as well as a check on the Active box.
