Logic - Schedules are used to determine the business hours or holiday hours for an auto attendant or call center, or can be used in a call forwarding selective schedule to forward calls to another location during the scheduled times. Schedules can be applied to multiple things at the same time and do not have to be limited to only one item. Schedules can be created on the Enterprise level, Group level or User level, a schedule built on the User level can only be used by that user, a schedule built on the Group level can be used by anything inside that group and a schedule built on the Enterprise level can be used anywhere in the enterprise.
**IMPORTANT** - BEFORE EDITING A SCHEDULE IT IS IMPORTANT TO LOOK FOR WHAT THE SCHEDULE IS CURRENTLY APPLIED TO SO YOU KNOW HOW IT WILL IMPACT YOUR BUSINESS
Step 1. Navigate to the Enterprise/Group/User level where the schedule is built, or you would like to build the schedule.
Step 2. Select the "Schedules" option under the "Basic" menu.
Step 3. If you are adding a new schedule select the "Add" button, otherwise skip to Step 5.
Step 4. Type the name you would like to associate with the new schedule and select the type of schedule you are building then select "OK".
**Note** - A holiday schedule type can only be used in conjunction with another schedule or an auto attendant. Any dates/times in a holiday schedule will overrule any business hours/after hours schedule applied.
Step 5. Select the appropriate schedule you are editing.
Step 6.
- If you are adding a new event select the "Add" button
- If you are editing an existing event select the event
Step 7.
- If you are adding a new event, enter a descriptive "Event Name", select the appropriate "Event Details" then select "OK"
- **Note** - The event will occur beginning on the start date and time and ending on the end date and time, the event will occur throughout the entire time in between these dates and times, if you are wanting an event that repeats each day from 9am - 6pm select the same date for the start and end dates and then select the appropriate recurrence pattern to be applied.
- If you are editing an existing event, update the "Event Details" as needed then select "OK"
